About Us

Hobby Gems was created by long-time collectors and hobbyists who wanted to bring respect, honesty, and value back to the repack world. After years of live-streaming and community building, we felt there was inconsistency and dishonesty in the repack world that has eroded collector confidence. As a result, we created Hobby Gems to make ripping wax fun again and to help rebuild the trust in the Hobby. Hobby Gems was built as a stand-alone brand to uphold the highest standards of authenticity and transparency. Every card we pack is one we'd be proud to pull ourselves.

Exhibit A: Company Overview & Structure

RS Sports LLC is a U.S.–registered business (EIN, bank accounts, and tax ID on file) operating two distinct divisions:

RS Sports Live Sales (Whatnot seller) and Hobby Gems (sealed collectible manufacturing and distribution).

Hobby Gems began operations in early 2025 as a limited pilot under RS Sports LLC, focused on refining repack-manufacturing processes and establishing product-quality standards. Since then, the company has formalized its operations with dedicated facilities, standardized batch documentation, and tamper-evident sealing procedures. Each new series now follows a defined SOP with traceable sourcing, randomization logs, and quality-control checkpoints.

To ensure full separation and impartiality between divisions:

Physical Separation – RS Sports Live Sales operates from RS Sports LLC’s business address in Franklin Lakes, NJ. Hobby Gems operates exclusively out of a warehouse facility in West Milford, NJ.

Personnel Separation – Dedicated staff oversee each division with no crossover. RS Sports Live Sales is not involved in the buying, building, or curating of Hobby Gems repack products.

Exhibit B: Hobby Gems Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedure

RS Sports LLC consolidates accounting at the parent level for tax and reporting purposes. Within this structure, Hobby Gems maintains independent operational records — including sourcing documentation, series logs, and QC spreadsheets — providing full traceability from acquisition through sealed-product distribution.

Cards entering the Hobby Gems division are purchased from third-party vendors and external sources (e.g., direct sales, Whatnot, eBay, COMC, and card shows). Inventory is transferred to the Hobby Gems facility and tracked via batch identifiers linked to purchase records.

Process Steps:

Acquisition – Cards are purchased from approved third-party vendors.

Repository Entry – Each card is logged into the “Purchased Repository,” recording description, purchase date, source, and price.

Series Creation – Cards are assigned to a specific series; a “Series Checklist” is then created and lists every card, its source, purchase date, and curation date.

Pack Sealing – Cards are placed into Hobby Gems packs and heat-sealed for tamper protection.

Randomization – All sealed packs are placed into a randomization bin and shuffled.

Box Assembly – Four sealed packs are drawn at random, labeled “Series X / Box X” for traceability, placed into a Hobby Box, and the box is sealed and labeled identically. This repeats until the entire series is boxed.

Final QC & Distribution – Once all boxes are sealed and tamper-proof, the series is cleared for sale and distribution. The corresponding checklist is immediately published on the Hobby Gems website.

Exhibit C: Other Important Items

Pricing & Evolution – Each series is independently curated and priced according to market conditions, input costs, and product design. Early 2025 pilot series were used to refine sourcing and packaging workflows. Since Q3 2025, Hobby Gems has implemented serialized box labeling, standardized SOPs, and upgraded QC procedures. All current and future releases follow this enhanced process.

Production Volume – Each series is a limited, self-contained run with its own batch documentation, checklist, and inventory count. Run size varies by card availability, collector demand, and design. Every run follows identical SOP standards for sourcing, randomization, QC, and sealing.
